The problem
Independent analysts don't have Bloomberg terminals. They have EDGAR's HTML viewer, a spreadsheet, and whatever free data they can scrape together. The filings are public but the tools to work with them aren't.
What it does
It pulls 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings from SEC EDGAR and parses XBRL data going back to 2009. That's structured financial statements, not PDFs. Every number is queryable.
Filings are embedded and indexed in Qdrant for semantic search. Ask "which companies increased R&D spending by more than 30% year-over-year" and get answers with source citations.
Built-in DCF models let you run valuations with your own assumptions. The backtesting engine replays strategies against historical data. Ollama handles AI summarization and analysis, running locally with no API costs.
